For the first week of May, St. Rita welcomed NET Ministries as they hosted the Freshmen & Sophomore Retreats! Throughout the retreats, the freshmen class learned about friendship and the sophomore class learned about true masculinity.
During the sessions, Ritamen played games, met in small groups, and bonded with one another to grow closer as Rita brothers!
Retreats are a part of the student experience at St. Rita, promoting involvement, school spirit, spiritual development and social concern.
Student involvement at the school is emphasized by offering students a variety of clubs and organizations. School spirit is promoted through Homecoming & Spirit Week events, Senior Prom/dances, game day themes and pep rallies. Spiritual development and social concern is championed through organizations like the Respect Life Club and the Social Justice Club as well as the above mentioned retreats, school wide activities such as the Food Drive, the Giving Tree, Blood Drive, St. Baldrick’s, and monthly Spirit Days.
