Juneteenth Flags and Pet Health Fair

Ald. Derrick G. Curtis and Chicago’s 18th Ward are sponsoring a Free Juneteenth Flag Give-a-Way at the Ward Office, 8359 S. Pulaski, while supplies last. The flag attaches to a car window, and features a Juneteenth design.

To receive a free flag, residents must be able to show proof of residency for the 18th Ward. One flag per household, and flags will only be available while supplies last. Office Hours for the 18th Ward are: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ald. Derrick G. Curtis and the 18th Ward are also sponsoring a Pet Health Fair on Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the parking lot of the 18th Ward Office.

One hundred free rabies shots, SVRCP Vaccines (protects against airborne viruses), will be distributed to pets, on a first-come, first-served basis.
For information about the Juneteenth Car Flag Give-a-way, or the Pet Health Fair, contact the office of the 18th Ward at 773-284-5057.
